University of Dayton

The University of Dayton is ranked as one of the top ten Catholic universities in the nation. The schools started as the St Mary's School for boys 160 years ago on July 1, 1850. It grew quickly and by 1920 was known by its current name. In 2009 they were named to be a part of the President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll and has one of the highest percentage of graduates that choose to volunteer for the Peace Corps. This is a school with one of the largest campus ministry programs in the world for those that want to be active in their faith throughout their education. This school wants to teach you that there is room for religion while you're studying to work for a private commercial mortgage firm or to become a teacher.

There is also much to celebrate in the way of athletics when it comes to this school. Their men's basketball team won the 2010 National Invitation Tournament and all of the teams combined had an 82% winning percentage in the fall of 2009. This is the best result on record for the institution throughout its history.
